Reading the comments about Mr. Ennis brings back the sounds in the hallways. I worked for Humble for the Director of Maintenance and Renovation.  It really was strange as I went from seeing Mr. Ennis in the hallways of MacArthur to the offices of Humble ISD. When I walked in for my interview, I could not believe my eyes there set Mr. Ennis in this wheelchair. I worked along side of Mr. Ennis only for a few months before his passing. It was great working along side of him.

Even if you are not with us now, "Thank you Mr. Ennis for making us who and what we are today".

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH EVERYONES SENTIMENTS ABOUT MR. ENNIS.  I HAD MRS. ENNIS, AS MY CHOIR DIRECTOR.  THEY WERE BOTH GOOD PEOPLE, AND TRUE CARDS !

I MISS THEM BOTH.

Some of us remember Mr. Ennis as the man with the paddle.  I genuinely liked and respected him, though most of the time I spent with him was not of my choosing.
