David was my brother. He should have graduated in 1968 but did not. He joined the Army, served in Vietnam where he was wounded and received the Purple Heart. He served the rest of his time stateside. After receiving his honerable discharge David worked at several jobs until he found a home with Coca Cola in 1977 where he stayed until his retirement in 2006 when he was no longer physically able to do his job. David succumbed to ALS (Lou Gherig's) on September 9, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Paulette, daughter Davida and son Clint, two grandsons, Joshua & Gage and one granddaughter, Karis.
We also have one sister, Donna Harris Warren, c/o '71.
